Fantastic Chinese Cuisine
Mr. Francisco Wong Esquivel was born on October 13, 1927, in Torreon, Coahuila. His parents were Francisco Wong and Juanita Esquivel. “Paco,” as he was referred to by his friends, arrived in Ciudad Juárez at an early age, already a young entrepreneur. On September 23, 1960, Mr. Paco Wong established his first restaurant on the corners of Avenida de las Americas and 16 de Septiembre streets; this address also happened to be his home. Mr. Wong was a pioneer in establishing a formal Chinese food restaurant in both Ciudad Juárez and El Paso, Texas. Mr. Wong’s clients also knew him as “The Baron of Chinese Food.”
It was customary to see Mr. Paco going from table to table greeting his clients. The concept of his cuisine stretched out to other cities in Mexico, such as Acapulco, Mazatlan and Tijuana. 
Paco Wong’s Chinese Restaurant & Bar carries his name in tribute to his excellent and ample influence.
